Marriage isn't exactly easy either, but in a society that values coupledom over almost everything else, the conspicuousness and suspiciousness of being single is a challenge to contend with. I get it...once you stop chasing the highs of each new person, the newness and the shininess that they lend to our lives, we have only ourselves to deal with. I see you're making progress; I've never heard you say or read some of the above. Wow!
