I too believe that acceptance is probably the only way that things actually do change for the better, even miraculously :) It's getting better and better every day. It was such a funny thing with J. When he reponded to my CL ad he included 2 pics of himself, and I immediately recognized him. When I emailed him back I reminded him of the cab incident and he totally remembered me then, but hadn't put it all together. He said that he would have probably only recognized me in profile, in the dark since that's how I looked in the cab.
